This modern mountain home in Tahoe captures the essence of rustic meets industrial in a minimal yet impactful way. We combined photographs and modern design elements to create a home that was cool and hip for entertaining and family lake living. With durability in mind, we used outdoor fabrics throughout the home but intermixed camo fabric and Rumpl sleeping bags to keep the spaces unique. The color palette was inspired by the client’s personal love of white, gray, and black. The great room is fun and playful with a roll up snack bar, a shipping container as a pantry door and a custom oversized sectional. The dining room features a reclaimed table with a striking antler chandelier and a metal fireplace that is the focal point. Their home is a perfect blend of graphic elements and design that are not only meaningful but reflect the spirit of this special family! This project was photographed by Thomas Kuoh.
