This project was designed for an empty-nest couple who love to travel, collect art, and spend time at their home in Tahoe. With three grown children and a desire for a fresh start, they wanted to transition their very traditional home into something more modern and refined.
Our scope included updating the primary bedroom, family room, living room, dining room, and powder room. One of the key challenges was working around the existing peach tile flooring, which required a thoughtful balance of new finishes and furnishings to achieve a cohesive, contemporary look. We redesigned the built-ins to accommodate three televisions and integrated the couple’s existing art collection – bringing a clean, layered warmth to each space.
