This project — a transformation of a 5,500-square-foot home in Danville, California for a family with two grown children — maintains the original charm of the family’s long-time home while offering our clients an updated design to support their changing lifestyle. As we reimagined the home, our design approach included a blend of old-world and new, as we gently pushed the clients to lighten the palette.
By opening up the living and dining room spaces, designing a new, modern fireplace and introducing contemporary artwork, we were able to keep the home’s classic overtones while bringing in a fresh outlook. Luxurious accents and accessories, additional entertainment space and bespoke furnishings come together to form spaces that are inviting and sophisticated, while reflecting our clients’ traditional design aesthetic.
