In an ongoing partnership, we have worked with our clients — a young family with two children — to redesign their home over time as their tastes and needs have evolved. In the process, we have created a sophisticated space that serves the needs of their young family, with a design aesthetic that is cohesive, classic and fresh. Crisp and tailored, the front porch and entry set the tone with a welcoming swing outfitted in navy and white.
Inside, a gallery of family photos in black and white brings a personal touch to the living room, and provides a quiet complement to the blues and yellows of the upholstery. An outdated dining room has been transformed with sleek furnishings, Sara Paloma pottery and the sunny tones of abstract artwork by Amy Kaufman. We took a similarly light-hearted touch in the design of bedrooms, baths and a wonderfully-organized office and craft room.
