For this stately Spanish-style home in Alamo, we worked to lighten up the interior palette, creating a fresh, inviting environment while honoring the home’s iconic architecture. To complement the home’s original forged-iron railings, hardware and lighting, we combined the soft lines of richly-upholstered pieces with rich leather and an array of dark woods for a classic California vibe reminiscent of historic Santa Barbara homes.
Exquisitely detailed pieces from Alfonso Marina and A. Rudin, paired with creamy, highly textured fabrics, form an elegant, high-touch interior. The impact is serene and soothing, and a perfect backdrop for the abundant greenery just outside the windows.
